Katie was Patience's and our first foal. She surprised us a bit, and Steve found her early in the morning when he was feeding. All looked normal, until he noticed a small foal head peering at him over a rock…made him cry just a little. Katie is an exceptional example of the 'Performance' phenotype of the Gypsy Vanner breed, intelligent, cuddly, wants to please, nicknamed our 'Gentle Giant', with tons of bone, VERY broad chest, perfect feet, barrel and head set. Great all around athlete and beautiful. Heavy feather and lovely hair. She had cute poka-dots, and high stepping, smooth gaits to catch your eye. This fine King William filly will be BIG, 15.2 hh+ at maturity, and well muscled (estimating 1400 lb). Katie is homozygous for the Tobiano gene, and will always throw color. Katie loves love! Comes up behind me and hangs her head over my shoulder for a kiss, and if you treat her with love as you ask her to do things, pick up her feet, lead around, she goes right with you. You can see right into her heart. She'll be great to show. I also think she'll make a wonderful parade horse, like her Mom. Katie is joining our mare herd. We're looking forward to watching her continue to grow in beauty ability and sweetness!
